Privacy
All information collected about you by Pawsome Interactions will only be used to provide our services. Information such as your name, address, contact information and any personal information will be not shared with any third party. Any sharing of information will only occur if consent is provided by yourself and if directly relevant to the care of your dog. This may relate to referral to another service provider such as a veterinarian or other behaviour consultant at your discretion. Consent for taking any images or video will be asked. Such images or video will only be shared if your consent has been given at the time of booking or verbal consent is gained within the consultation or training.
Bookings, Payment and Cancellation
Any bookings for in home training and group classes require payment to be made at the time of the booking and payment of such fee constitutes acceptance of the Pawsome Interactions Terms and Conditions.
The date and time of the in home and the group classes spot is not secured until payment is received by Pawsome Interactions.
24-Hour Notice: For cancellations or rescheduling, please inform us at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment or class to receive a full refund or reschedule without penalty. For cancellations under 24 hours, exceptions may be considered under extenuating circumstances.
Class Participation Disclaimer: Our classes are not suitable for dogs reactive to other dogs, animals, or people. For reactive dogs, please consider our reactivity classes or private sessions.
Indemnity Clause: By participating, you agree to release Pawsome Interactions from any claims or damages arising from your participation. You assume all risks related to dog training and are responsible for any damages caused by your dog. Compliance with our trainers' rules is mandatory for the safety and benefit of all participants. Participants understanding of these terms ensure a safe, effective learning environment and clients agree to abide by them upon registration.
Any group class bookings are made with the understanding that you will be able to attend all classes unless discussed with us and agreed upon prior to the booking. No make up classes will be available due to the small group sizes. If you’re unable to complete a course, this then implies a forfeit of the course fee.
In the event you are feeling unwell prior to or on the day of the in home training session, please advise us ASAP to make other arrangements. No financial penalty will apply if this is due to COVID exposure or positive test. If you are booked into a class, please do not attend if you are feeling unwell or COVID exposed or COVID positive.
Vaccinations and Health
All puppies and adult dogs must be up to date with their vaccination schedules. New group class clients are required to provide proof of current vaccinations prior to class commencement. If any dogs are observed to appear unwell when presenting to group classes or in home training, you may be asked to reschedule your in home training session. Make up sessions are not available for group classes missed and fees will therefore be forfeited.
Training Methods
All of our training procedures are based on positive reinforcement training methods. We do not use correction chains, compulsion, intimidation, physical force, spray collars, electronic collars, prong collars, forcing dogs or puppies onto their backs or muzzle grabs. Hitting, yelling or forceful methods used towards dogs are also not to be used in our classes or during consultations. When undertaking training with us you understand that harsh methods will not be tolerated in training and our services may be ceased as a result. Such methods will also not be allowed in group classes and ceasing of services within a group class will result in the remaining class fees being forfeited. We will not advocate for the use of aversive methods in training and you agree our methods will focus on using positive based methods.
Dog and Owner Conduct
Your dog must remain on lead at all times unless otherwise instructed by the Trainer. We ask that you keep a safe distance outside of your dog's leash length reach from all other dogs and people in class settings and in home lessons. Any social interactions will be guided by the trainer when suitable to do so and assessments of your dog's sociability is undertaken first. If you do so, this is done at your own risk and you as the dog’s owner will be held liable for any injuries that may occur as a result. Pawsome Interactions will not be held liable for any injuries that may occur as a result of any non-trainer facilitated interactions that occur within training facility property or outside of training sessions. You agree to indemnify us from any liability to claims, losses, fees or suits that may arise from any information received during services or via information provided on this website.
All information provided to you in sessions including handouts and reports are copyrighted to Pawsome Interactions. Any public sharing of information received from Pawsome Interactions, must be by written consent by us prior to sharing.
